Lonneke Roza's work experience includes a variety of roles in community investment, research, teaching, and consulting. Most recently, they served as the Head of Community Investment at NN Group, where they led the development and implementation of the company's commitment to contribute to society. Prior to this, they worked as a Lecturer and Coach at Rotterdam School of Management and held various research positions focused on corporate citizenship and philanthropy. Lonneke also worked as a Strategy Consultant for entrepreneurs, companies, and foundations, assisting them with social impact strategies and cross-sector partnerships. Additionally, they served as an Interim project leader for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at The Hague University of Applied Sciences, where they were responsible for integrating CSR practices throughout the organization. Lonneke's diverse experience also includes roles at EVPA, Impact Centre Erasmus (ICE), and Fortis Foundation Netherlands, where they conducted research and gained practical skills in the field. Lonneke began their career as an Assistant Manager at Cafe Pavlov, where they developed management and communication skills.
Lonneke Roza holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Business Administration and Management, obtained from the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, where they studied from 2012 to 2016. Prior to their PhD, they completed their Master of Science (MSc) in Global Business and Stakeholder Management from the same institution from 2007 to 2009. In 2008, they also studied International Business at VSE School of Economics Prague for a year. Their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Business Administration was obtained from Erasmus University Rotterdam, where they studied from 2002 to 2007. In addition to their academic degrees, Lonneke Roza was awarded the Academy of Management best symposium award in 2016.
