Roland de Boo

Roland de Boo is an experienced Senior Data Engineer currently building a group-wide Data & Analytics Platform at NN Group since January 2024. With a robust background in data-driven solutions and machine learning, Roland has held various technical leadership roles, including Technical Lead for Data Platform Engineering at CARIAD and Datalake Platform Team at Stedin. Other notable positions include Senior Data/Machine Learning Engineer at Shell and Technical Lead for multiple projects at Eneco. Roland began their career as a Software Engineer at ING Nederland and has a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Delft University of Technology, complemented by a study of Political Science at Leiden University.
