David Maloney

David Maloney is an experienced professional in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as a Senior Authorised Person - Offshore Commissioning Engineer at NnG Offshore Wind since September 2022. Previously, David held the role of Electrical Engineer 66kV SAP Offshore Commissioning at SSE Renewables, contributing to the Seagreen Windfarm project. David's extensive background includes managing wind farm operations at Banks Group, serving as Site Engineer at the Materials Processing Institute, and working in various electrical and mechanical engineering positions across multiple companies. David’s career began at Cleveland Fire Brigade as a Crew Manager, followed by an apprenticeship as a Commercial/Domestic Electrician. David has pursued ongoing education in renewable energy and related fields, strengthening expertise in high voltage system commissioning and management.
