Mihaly Szabo has held various finance-related roles throughout their career. Mihaly started at NNG LLC in 2022 as the Global CFO. Prior to that, they worked at Affidea Magyarország from 2016 to 2022 as the CFO. Before that, they were the CFO for MOL Romania in 2015 and had a supplemental interim role for MOL Magyarország in 2015. From 2014 to 2015, they held a supplemental role within MOL Group and was the Managing Director and CFO for Danube Steam Generator Ltd. From 2010 to 2013, Mihaly worked at GE, where they were the Leader of GE Middle East Joint Venture Finance (CFO) Council and also served as the CFO for a joint venture. Mihaly also held various senior finance management positions at GE, including roles in Belgium & France and Sourcing Europe. Prior to their time at GE, Mihaly was a Pricing Manager for UK/Ireland/Nordic regions and participated in the Financial Management Program (FMP), which included roles as a Manufacturing Finance Analyst.
Mihaly Szabo's education history includes an Executive Education Program at Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 2020, a Leadership Academy Programme in Health Economics, Policy and Management at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in 2017, a Postgraduate MSc in Finance at the University of Szeged from 2000 to 2004, and a BSc in Accounting & Finance from IJselland University of Professional Education, The Netherlands in 1999. Mihaly also completed a GE Financial Management Program Education System in Hungary & USA from 2000 to 2002, focusing on US GAAP, risk management, controllership, audit, and strategy. In 2002, they obtained a Six Sigma Green Belt certification from General Electric (GE). Prior to that, they completed a BSc in Finance and Banking at the College of Finance and Accountancy, Hungary from 1996 to 2000.
