Karl Tryggvason

Karl Tryggvason has had a varied career since 2003. From 2003 to 2013, they were a dj/promoter/radio show host/writer for Félagið Breakbeat á Íslandi. In 2007, they were an Assistant Teacher at the University of Iceland, and in 2008, they were a Manager at Ekko Youth Center and a Freelance Writer for Resident Advisor. From 2011 to 2016, they were a Software Developer at TM Software, where they did back- and front-end web development for clients in the airline, banking and travel industries. Karl then went on to become a Full Stack Developer, Lead Developer, and Technical Lead Engineer at Discogs from 2016 to 2021. Currently, they are a Senior Backend Developer at No Isolation.

Karl Tryggvason received a BSc in Computer Science from Háskóli Íslands in 2009-2011, a BA in Philosophy from Háskóli Íslands in 2003-2007, and a Diploma in Event Management from Háskólinn á Hólum in 2008-2009.
