Joseph Giallo

Joseph Giallo, PhD, MBA has a strong background in medical technology and has held various leadership roles in the industry. Joseph is currently the Head of Software, R&D at Noah Medical. Prior to this, they worked as an Engineering Fellow at Neocis Inc., where they led new product development and engineering projects. At Neocis, they also led the implementation of automated log gathering/analysis and billing project and introduced a new patient tracker robotic arm to the market.

Before their time at Neocis, Joseph worked at Intuitive Surgical, where they held multiple roles including Vice President of Business Integration, Vice President of System Production and Product Engineering, Vice President of Device Reprocessing & Sterilization, and Director of Engineering. In these positions, they played a key role in establishing and integrating China joint venture operations, overseeing manufacturing and quality systems, and leading engineering teams for surgical robotic systems. Joseph also led efforts in resolving regulatory agency inquiries and supporting new product development.

Furthermore, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University.
