Tai Minh has worked in the scientific field since 1995. Tai began as a Research Assistant at the University of Saskatchewan, where they helped set up a double haploid lab for wheat. In 1997, they moved on to become a Senior Research Associate at AgrEvo/Aventis CropScience/Bayer CropScience. In 2002, they worked as a Research Assistant at North Carolina State University, where they evaluated MAR in Maize. Later that year, they became a Senior Research Associate III at DuPont Pioneer/Corteva. In this role, they served as a Soybean transformation specialist and developed an immature cotyledon transformation system (patent pending). In 2015, they delivered over 3000 T0 transgenic events for DuPont Pioneer's product development. Tai also trained Soybean transformation staff and transferred transformation technology to other DuPont Pioneer sites. In 2019, they began working as a Scientist at Alpine Roads.
Tai Minh attended the University of Saskatchewan from 1991 to 1995, where they obtained a Bachelor of Art and Sciences degree in Biology, General.
