Yaxin Wang

Yaxin Wang has a diverse work experience in the field of genetic research. They started their career as an intern at Intrexon Corporation in 2019 and later served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of California, Davis between 2015 and 2019. In 2018, Yaxin Wang had another internship opportunity at Intrexon Corporation. Most recently, they joined Nobell Foods in 2023 as a Genetic Screening Project Lead and also worked as a Scientist from 2019 to 2023.

Yaxin Wang pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biotechnology at Nankai University from 2008 to 2012. Later, from 2012 to 2014, they attended Cornell University, where they obtained a Master of Science (MS) in Horticulture. Lastly, Yaxin Wang completed their education at the University of California, Davis, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Plant Biology from 2014 to 2019.
