Roeland Pelgrims has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles.

Roeland is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Nobi BV, a company that focuses on developing smart lamps to help elderly people live happy and safe lives at home. Roeland joined the company in September 2018.

In 2018, Roeland also co-founded OHLIVE Villas & Lodges, a venture that involves developing sustainable luxury villas in Skiathos, Greece.

Roeland is the founder of Cowhill Studio co-working & seed investment, which provides a creative co-working space for innovative start-ups. Roeland has also co-founded, funded, and/or managed start-ups in tourism, property development, medical technology, FMCG, and smart home technology.

In 2021, Roeland became a Co-Founder of Moonbag Capital, a crypto fund that invests in seed or early-stage blockchain tokens.

Roeland served as a Board Member at MANKIND art, an organization that enables artists to fuse different art forms using cutting-edge technology.

Roeland also held the position of Executive Chairman at Cemart NV - The Art of Cement, where they explored innovative solutions in cement production for over five years.

Roeland has been involved with digitalSTROM AG, first as an Executive Board Member from January 2020 to February 2021, and later as a Board Member until February 2021. The company specializes in smart home solutions using powerline technology.

Roeland worked as the Chief Strategy Officer at Palmyra Brands, an investment fund focused on the construction and management of retirement homes.

Roeland also served as a Member of the Board of Directors at Armonea, the market leader in residential senior care in Belgium.

Roeland was the CEO of ONE Smart Control, a company that develops smart home solutions for private houses, hotels, offices, and caring homes. Roeland held this position from July 2016 to October 2018.

Roeland Pelgrims completed their Master's degree in Linguistics & communication psychology, as well as Law, from the University of Antwerp between 1999 and 2004. Roeland then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Vlerick Business School, graduating in 2014. Additionally, Roeland also participated in the Global Gateway Program at Fordham Gabelli School of Business, although specific duration details are not provided.
