Achim Hupperts has extensive work experience in various leadership roles in the fields of sustainability, operations, and supply chain management. Currently, they are the Executive Vice President Integrated Supply Chain at Nobian since October 2023. Prior to that, they were the Vice President Sustainability at DSM - Firmenich from May 2023 to September 2023. Achim also held multiple positions at DSM starting from April 2018 till May 2023, including Vice President Sustainability, Vice President Safety & Health, and Chief Operations Officer. Achim worked at SC Johnson from December 2003 to December 2011 in various roles including Director Strategy & Growth - Global Product Supply, Director Product Supply - ASEAN, Operations Director JHHP (Indonesia), and Plant Manager. Achim started their career at Bayer AG as a Research Scientist from February 1996 to September 1999 and later as a Plant Manager from October 1999 to December 2002.
Achim Hupperts received their Master's degree in Chemistry from the University of Düsseldorf in 1992. Achim then pursued a Ph.D. in Organometallic Chemistry at the Max-Planck-Institute for Coal Research from 1993 to 1995.
