Norman Hannawa

Norman Hannawa is a seasoned tax and accounting professional with extensive experience in both private practice and corporate roles. Currently serving as the Head of Tax and Accounting Solutions at NODE40 since March 2023, Norman also acts as a Seed Investor for BlockchainOZ.fund. Previously, Norman held the position of Director of Tax Strategy at Chainalysis Inc. from May 2022 to February 2023 and was a Partner/Principal in International Tax/Financial Services at Ernst & Young for nearly a decade. Earlier career experiences include roles as an Associate at Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP and Dykema Gossett PLLC, as well as serving as an Attorney Adviser at the United States Tax Court. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Michigan, a Juris Doctor from Notre Dame Law School, and a Master of Laws in Taxation from New York University School of Law.
