Chris Gabel

Chris Gabel has a long history of work experience in the biotechnology field. Chris began their career in 1990 as a Senior Scientist and Research Advisor in Inflammation Pharmacology at Pfizer, where they directed a team engaged in target discovery efforts and facilitated several projects moving into the clinic. In 2004, they moved to Amgen as an Executive Director in the Inflammation Research Therapeutic Area, overseeing a group of 35 scientists across two campuses. In 2012, they took on the role of Chief Scientific Officer at Resolve Therapeutics, where they were responsible for strategic planning, coordinating assay development, and directing a small team of research scientists. Chris also founded Chris Gabel LLC in 2012 and has served as Principle ever since. Currently, they are Vice President of Biology at NodThera Limited, a Cambridge (UK) headquartered biotech engaged in innate immune/inflammasome research.

Chris Gabel received a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from Iowa State University in 1975, after attending from 1971. Chris then went on to obtain a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Washington in 1979.
