John Smout

John Smout has over 15 years of experience in the agricultural industry. John began their career in 2005 as the Operations & Contract Sales Manager for United Milking Systems, where they were responsible for sales of capital equipment such as milking machinery. In 2013, they moved to Pertemps Network Group as an Agricultural Manager. In 2015, they joined Rumenco as an Area Business Manager for Progiene, Uddergold and Ecolab chemical range. John provided on-farm support and trained staff and merchants on the range of dairy chemicals and udder health products. In 2021, they became the Business Development Manager for North UK at Cogent Breeding Ltd. Currently, they are the Sales Manager UK & Ireland at Nofence.

John Smout attended Rhyn Park School (shropshire) from 1996 to 2001, where they obtained 13 GCSE's A* - C. John then went on to Walford & North Shropshire College from 2001 to 2003, where they obtained A Levels in Psychology(A), Law(B), Geography(A), English Literature (A*), and English Language(A) General studies(C). From 2003 to 2006, John attended Glyndwr university and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. Additionally, John has obtained certifications for ADR dangerous Chemicals and Butchery Qualification FDQ.
