Head Of Unit - Food Prototyping & Experience at NOI Techpark

Ben Schneider has a diverse work experience in the food industry. Ben currently holds the position of Head of Unit - Food Prototyping & Experience at NOI Techpark since January 2023. Prior to this, they were the Head of Unit - Food Technologies at the same company from January 2019 to December 2022.

Before joining NOI Techpark, Schneider worked as a Coordinator - Ecosystem Food at IDM Südtirol-Alto Adige from February 2016 to December 2018. Ben also served as an Employee - Cluster Alimentaris at TIS innovation park from November 2013 to January 2016.

Schneider has culinary experience as well. Ben was the Head Chef at Ansitz Velseck from May 2013 to January 2014 and worked as a Souschef at the same place from July 2012 to September 2012.

Additionally, Schneider has gained relevant industry experience as a Trainee at Ahrntal Natur GmbH from August 2011 to February 2012, Restaurant Bitzerhof from September 2008 to December 2008, and Different Kitchens from January 2009 to April 2009. Ben also worked as a Chef de Partie Gardemanger at Hotel, Restaurant & Spa Erbprinz in May 2009, and as a Chef Tournant at Restaurant Akterdekket from June 2008 to August 2008.

Ben Schneider's education history is as follows:

In 2004 to 2007, they attended the Wald- und Schlosshotel Friedrichsruhe, where they pursued a degree in Koch.

From 2009 to 2013, they attended the Hochschule Weihenstephan-Triesdorf, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Lebensmittelmanagement.

In 2010 to 2011, they participated in an Erasmus-Studienaustausch program at the Schweizerische Hochschule für Landwirtschaft, Zollikofen, specializing in Lebensmittelmanagement.

From 2014 to 2015, they studied at the Landesberufschule für das Gast- und Nahrungsmittelgewerbe Emma Hellenstainer, where they obtained a degree in Küchenmeister, focusing on Fachtheorie und Fachpraxis.

In the same year, they also attended the Völklhof, where they acquired a Jagdbefähigungsnachweis.

In 2014, they became a Küchemeister in Unternehmensführung after attending the Landeshotelfachschule Kaiserhof.

In 2016, they attended the Fachschule für Obst-, Wein-, und Gartenbau Laimburg, specializing in being a qualified Kräuteranbauer und -verarbeiter.

In 2017, they completed a Praxis-Lehrgang Führungskompetenz at the Handels-, Industrie-, Handwerks- und Landwirtschaftskammer Bozen.
