Design Manager at noissue

Karen Tarun has worked in the design and marketing industry since 2010. In 2010, they began working as a Marketing Communications Specialist for Air Freight 2100, Inc. (Linaheim Corporate Services, Inc.). In this role, they developed uniforms, decals, signage, brochures, flyers, advertisements, event booths, banners, and websites. Karen also coordinated with printers, suppliers, and internal departments in acquiring project requirements such as quotes, specifications, materials, timelines, proofing, and project approvals. Additionally, they assisted in events such as inaugurations, sales kickoff meetings, golf tournaments, fun runs, basketball camps, and anniversary celebrations. In 2014, Karen began working as a Design Studio Supervisor at SGS. In this role, they led a team of designers to create print, creative concepts, and videos for global affiliates. Karen also managed daily operations of the team including assigning of requests, administrative tasks, and escalations. Finally, in 2021, Karen began working as a Design Manager at noissue. In this role, they are responsible for growing the team of 100+ spread across six countries, and is made up of smart, curious people from all backgrounds. Karen is also empowered to do impactful work that directly supports their customers, partners, and the planet.

Karen Tarun obtained their Master's degree in Marketing Communications from De La Salle University between 2012 and 2015. Karen also obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts and Design major in Advertising Arts from University of Santo Tomas between 2005 and 2009.
