Jayavel Arumugam

Jayavel Arumugam has over 24 years of extensive experience in network service operations and IT strategy. Currently serving as Lead Network Service Operations and Tools at Nokia since February 2018, Jayavel manages network operations and tools for Internal IT. Prior roles at Nokia include Lead Network Strategy and Design, where responsibilities encompassed network design and cloud connectivity. Before joining Nokia, Jayavel spent over 12 years at HCL Technologies in various leadership roles, including Head Cloud, Network & SDX Engineering, where management of network engineering teams and significant technology transformations occurred. Jayavel also led initiatives for enhancing user experience through the Foundation for Digital framework and provided IT infrastructure solutions as GM & Head – Global IT Networks Vertical. Earlier in career at GTL Limited, the position of Assistant Manager in Customer Support was held. Educational background includes a degree from Bharathiar University.
