Kerstin Johnsson, Ph.D., is a Principal Scientist in Wi-Fi Technologies at Nokia, specializing in advanced wireless systems and technology R&D, AI/ML communication solutions, and wireless system design. With over 50 patents in wireless communications, Kerstin has held significant roles at leading companies, including Ericsson and Intel Corporation, and has contributed extensively to 4G, 5G, and 6G development. They obtained a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and have a background in macroeconomic modeling from their early experience at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis. Currently, Kerstin is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with a minor in Economics at the University of Chicago.
