Liangjie Hong

Liangjie Hong is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in artificial intelligence and engineering within the telecommunications and e-commerce industries. Currently serving as the Vice President of Engineering, AI at Nokia since August 2025, Liangjie is focused on integrating AI to drive innovation in the telecommunication sector. Previously, Liangjie held the position of Director of Engineering, AI at LinkedIn, leading a substantial team to enhance talent matchmaking processes. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Engineering, Data Science and Machine Learning at Etsy, and as Senior Manager of Research at Yahoo Research, where Liangjie led various initiatives in conversational systems and personalization. Liangjie holds a PhD and a Master of Science in Computer Science from Lehigh University, as well as a Bachelor's degree from Beijing University of Chemical Technology.
