Tero Auranen

Tero Auranen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in procurement and business operations, currently serving as Business Operations Manager at Nokia since June 1996. In this role, Tero oversees procurement operations and governance, alongside performance management. Previous positions at Nokia include Head of Performance, Coaching & Assurance PMO, where Tero led a team focused on procurement performance and quality assurance. Tero has also held roles such as PMO Head, War Room Deputy, Global Category Manager for Indirect Software Procurement, and Quality Manager. In addition to this corporate experience, Tero served as Vice President and Executive Board Member of the Finnish Aeronautical Association from March 2007 to March 2013. Tero holds degrees in both IT and Economics and is a certified Private Pilot (JAA, FAA) with a background in aviation.
