Lasse Orsila

Lasse Orsila is an experienced general practitioner currently serving the City of Nokia since June 2020. In addition to this role, Lasse Orsila has held the position of Research and Development Manager and Optical Engineer at Modulight, Inc. since August 2015. Lasse Orsila is also a treasurer and conference organizer for Photonics Finland since June 2015 and previously worked part-time as a research and development engineer at RefleKron Oy from January 2006 to September 2015, focusing on optical measurements and semiconductor processing. From May 2000 to March 2014, Lasse Orsila worked as a project manager and researcher at the Optoelectronics Research Centre, Tampere University of Technology. Lasse Orsila has served as a treasurer for the Finnish Optical Society in 2014. Lasse Orsila holds a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from the University of Tampere and both Doctor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Photonics from Tampere University of Technology.
