Patricia Burns

Patricia Burns is a Professor of Practice at Tulane University, where since August 2011, focus has been on teaching writing and rhetorical theory, developing comprehensive course syllabi, and ensuring student learning outcomes. Prior experience includes serving as a Postdoctoral Teaching Fellow and as an Assistant Instructor at the University of Texas at Austin, where responsibilities encompassed managing an online writing center journal and curating content. Additionally, since January 2016, Patricia Burns has worked as a Freelance Writer for NOLA.com, producing research-based content.
