Stephen Dria

Director Of Quality at Noleus Technologies

Stephen Dria has a wide range of experience in the medical device industry. Stephen began their career in 2009 as a Graduate Student and Research Assistant at Johns Hopkins University, where they developed an algorithm for the statistical analysis of a novel microarray aCGH platform. In 2013, they moved to Jimma University, where they served as Assistant Professor in the Biomedical Engineering Department, mentoring local staff and establishing a curriculum for global health technology design courses. That same year, they also joined Rice University as a Program Associate and Global Health Technology Fellow, where they implemented goals of a partnership between Rice University Bioengineering Department and Jimma University Biomedical Engineering Department. In 2015, they became Adient Medical, Inc.'s first hire, serving as Senior Biomedical Engineer and setting up research, product development, verification, and quality systems for a biodegradable vena cava filter. In 2020, they founded Dria MedTech Consulting, LLC, providing consulting and contract work in all areas of device development. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Noleus Technologies as Director of Quality.

Stephen Dria received their Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University in 2012. Stephen then went on to receive their MSE in the Center for Bioengineering Innovation and Design from the same university in 2013.
