Gemma Toogood

Gemma Toogood has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. Gemma is currently the Head of Partnerships at _nology.io, starting in 2022. Prior to this, they worked at SBM Marketing Communications as a Business Development/Client Solutions Manager from 2021 to 2022. From 2017 to 2020, Gemma worked at Endemol Shine Group as a Producer, where they were responsible for casting and story development for various television shows. Gemma also served as the Managing Director-Australia at BackGrid from 2015 to 2017, overseeing business development and client management. Before that, they worked as the Picture Director for Woman's Day and Woman's Weekly at Bauer Media Group NZ from 2013 to 2015. Gemma's experience also includes working as the Sales Director for Snapper Media Pty Ltd from 2008 to 2013, and as a Freelance Writer for Master Mouse Patrol from 2010 to 2012. Gemma began their career as an Account Manager at 2Evolve Pty Ltd, where they worked with organizations such as Amnesty International, The Wilderness Society, and Wesley Mission from 2007 to 2008.

Gemma Toogood attended the University of Otago from 2002 to 2006, where they earned two bachelor's degrees - a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Film and Media, Communication Studies, and a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) in Management, Marketing.
