Joseph Crosbie has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Joseph started their career in 2011 as a Tutor for ISAT Honor Society. Joseph then worked as an Alternative Fuels Intern at Valley 25 X 25, where they managed a project funded by the U.S. Department of Energy. Joseph also gained experience as a Skilled Workman and Electrician at Sandage Designs from 2003 to 2013. Joseph worked as an Energy Engineering Contractor at Exact Energy and 2rw Consultants, Inc., where they focused on energy modeling, audit preparation, and renewable energy feasibility studies. Joseph also worked as a Project Manager at Kenergy Solar, overseeing day-to-day operations and installation crew scheduling. Joseph served as a Project Manager/Installer at Sigora Solar, responsible for managing projects and installing solar systems. In 2015, Joseph joined JOHN FARR LIGHTING DESIGN LLC as a Lighting Technician, Rigger, and Driver. Joseph then worked as a Stagehand at IATSE and as a Technician/Driver/Crew Chief at Nomad Event Systems.

Joseph Crosbie completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Integrated Science and Technology (ISAT), with a concentration in Energy, at James Madison University from 2010 to 2013. In 2011, they attended Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft des Saarlandes Saarbrücken for a short period to study Energy and Environment. That same year, they also attended the Universidad de Costa Rica UCR to study Thermodynamics and Energy.

In terms of certifications, Joseph obtained the Solar Photovoltaic Installation Professional certification from NABCEP in May 2015. In August 2014, they obtained the OSHA 10-Hour Construction Program certification from RedVector. Additionally, they obtained the WEMT-B certification from NREMT in August 2008.
