Gabriel Galvão

Gabriel Galvão has over 16 years of work experience in various software engineering roles. Gabriel is currently working at Nomad as a Senior Software Engineer. Previously, they worked at Red Ventures as a Senior Software Engineer. Gabriel also worked at BairesDev as a Software Engineer, where they were responsible for maintaining and adding new features to Golang microservices and developing ETLs using Lambda Architecture. Before that, they worked at Goldman Sachs as an Associate Software Engineer, where they managed fixed income streams and built integrations with Brazil's stock exchange. Gabriel also worked at Criteo as a Senior Solutions Engineer, where they built tools for clients and developed internal tools for the Ops teams. Prior to that, they worked at Google as an Ads Solutions Consultant, where they supported programmatic campaigns implementation and developed custom solutions for clients. Gabriel also worked at Evolux Sistemas Ltda as a Python Developer, IBM Brasil as an IT Specialist, Superior Tribunal Militar as a DBA, and Tribunal Regional Eleitoral do Rio Grande do Norte as a Software Developer.

Gabriel Galvão completed their education with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Big Data - Analytics from FIA - Fundação Instituto de Administração. Gabriel pursued this degree from 2018 to 2020.

Prior to obtaining their MBA, Gabriel obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Science from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte. Gabriel studied there from 2000 to 2005.

In addition to their formal education, Gabriel Galvão completed the "Mathematics for Machine Learning Specialization" certification from Coursera in November 2018.
