Jacob Russell

Jacob Russell has a diverse work experience in various design roles. Jacob is currently working as the VP of Product Design at Nomi Health, where they have been since January 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Director of Brand and Product Design at Nomi Health from December 2020 to January 2022. Before joining Nomi Health, Jacob worked as a Lead Product Designer at the same company from January 2020 to December 2020.

Before their time at Nomi Health, Jacob worked as a Senior Product Designer at Instructure from May 2019 to January 2020. Jacob also worked at Utah Valley University as an Adjunct Professor, teaching UX, from January 2019 to December 2019.

Jacob has prior experience as a Senior UX Designer at Entrata from November 2017 to May 2019. Jacob also worked as a UX/UI Designer at Ellucian from October 2016 to November 2017, where they played a key role in creating, unifying, and distributing UX patterns and best practices for higher education institutions globally.

Before that, Jacob served as a Senior Graphic Designer at XanGo from June 2014 to October 2016, managing the worldwide brand through various mediums. Jacob also worked as a Graphic Designer at Saxton/Horne Advertising from June 2013 to June 2014, managing advertising projects and brand development.

In addition, Jacob has experience as a Marketing Coordinator at Utah Valley University from April 2011 to June 2013, and as a Claims Agent/Graphic Designer at Alpha Warranty Services from September 2005 to April 2011. Jacob began their career as a Video Editor at Pearson North America from June 2001 to July 2003, creating educational videos for textbooks.

Jacob Russell completed their Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Graphic Design from Utah Valley University from 2006 to 2012. Additionally, they pursued upper elective courses in Art History at Brigham Young University from 2009 to 2010.
