Vice President, Global Head Of Onboarding at Nomu Pay

Metin Yorgan has a diverse work experience spanning various companies and roles.

Metin started their career at Manulife Financial, where they worked as a Business Development Corporate Account Facilitator from January 2000 to June 2002. Metin then transitioned to become a Business Development Client Specific Investigator, focusing on conversion and integration of acquired clients into standard business blocks and system requirements.

In 2005, Yorgan joined Sunlife Financial, specifically in the Group Benefits division. Here, they worked as a Business Development Implementation Specialist, responsible for implementing new group benefit business and handling complex revisions across internal departments. Metin also managed and delegated tasks within operations and ensured client expectations were met.

Yorgan then moved to the Individual Life division of Sunlife Financial in 2007, taking on the role of Manager - Data Management Unit. In this position, they created a national team of data manipulation specialists and presented the department's capabilities to internal and external clients. Metin also played a role in sales opportunities and increasing service capabilities across regions.

In 2010, Yorgan became the Manager of Business Solutions at Sunlife Financial's Individual Life division. Metin developed and refined a national team of operational trainers, business analysts, and consultants and negotiated and prioritized corporate initiatives. Metin also presented departmental and offshore results to senior management.

In 2013, Yorgan joined Benecaid Health Benefit Solutions as the Director of Projects & Technology. In this role, they directed company-wide projects related to client acquisition and technology platform improvement. Metin executed initiatives in sales, operations, systems, marketing, and finance and maintained vendor relations.

Yorgan then moved to PayPal Financial in 2015 as the Head of Onboarding, leading the onboarding process for new clients. Metin held this position until February 2020. During this time, they joined Hyperwallet Systems Inc. as a Technical Solutions Executive from November 2015 to September 2016. Metin also served as the Lead Project Manager for Strategic Initiatives from January 2015 to November 2015.

Continuing their career at Hyperwallet Systems Inc., Yorgan took on the role of Vice President, Global Delivery from September 2016 to May 2021. In this position, they ensured proper onboarding and client implementations while providing leadership for project managers and client relations executives. Metin played a vital role in ensuring relationship management, internal and external leadership, project management, and adaptability in a rapidly-changing environment.

Yorgan then joined Instant Financial in August 2021 as the VP of Customer Success, responsible for customer success initiatives. Metin held this role until November 2022.

Currently, Yorgan works at NomuPay as the Vice President, Global Head of Onboarding, starting in January 2023.

Throughout their career, Yorgan has demonstrated leadership, project management, relationship management, and adaptability skills in various roles across different industries.

Metin Yorgan completed a Leadership Principles program at Grinnell Leadership in 2013, with a focus on Organizational Leadership. Prior to that, between 1996 and 2000, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology at the University of Waterloo.
