Dhaval Shah

Dhaval Shah is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in investment banking and equity markets. As the Managing Director at Nomura since November 2008, Dhaval has held various leadership roles, including Head of Global Markets and Head of Research, overseeing a team of over 150 members specializing in equity and economics research. Prior to Nomura, Dhaval worked at Citigroup Global Markets as a Director, managing the offshore equity research unit and supporting global analyst teams. Dhaval's career also includes serving as Vice President at Credit Suisse, where regional oversight of the CSFB HOLT team was a key responsibility. Dhaval began the journey in finance as an articled clerk at G K Choksi & Co. Educational qualifications include Chartered Accountant and Cost Accountant degrees from relevant Indian institutions, complemented by a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounts.
