Yong Yan

Yong Yan is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in credit and rates electronic trading systems. Currently serving as Vice President at Nomura since July 2012, Yong has worked across various roles including Credit IT focusing on eTrading, RFQ, trade capture, and real-time risk. Prior to Nomura, Yong held the position of Vice President at Morgan Stanley, specializing in OTC derivatives clearing, and at Citi with a focus on rates eTrading technology. Additional experience includes a Vice President role at Lehman Brothers - Barclays Capital in fixed income eTrading and an AVP position at Credit Suisse developing a web-based eTrading system. Yong's career began as a Senior Developer at State Street and a Software Engineer at Princeton Financial Systems. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in CAD/CAM from Northwestern Polytechnical University and a Master's Degree in Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering with a specialization in Computational Geometry from Arizona State University.
