Idan Tager

Idan Tager is an experienced professional in the field of cyber security and research, currently serving as Algorithms R&D Group Manager and Algorithms R&D Team Leader at Noname Security since October 2021. Prior to this role, Idan spent nearly a decade at the Israel Defense Forces, where leadership responsibilities included Head of Department and Deputy Head of Division in Cyber Operations, overseeing approximately 50 security researchers and engineers. Additional roles encompassed Team Lead in Cyber Operations and Cyber R&D, focusing on security and network research as well as specialized cyber R&D for the Android operating system and low-level development for Linux and embedded systems. Idan holds a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics from Tel Aviv University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mathematics from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
