Shai Meir

Shai Meir has over 20 years of work experience in various roles related to data science, machine learning, and security research. Shai is currently working as the Data Science Lead at Noname Security since November 2021. Prior to that, from 2019 to 2021, they worked as a Cyber Research and Deep Learning Engineer at Deep Instinct, where they contributed to improving the overall performance of deep learning models and published research papers in the field of malware detection. Shai also presented at BH EU 2020 conference. Earlier in their career, Shai held positions at Palo Alto Networks, Secdo, Intel Corporation, McAfee, Sentrigo, Gita Technologies, and The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where they gained experience in roles such as Sr. Researcher, Manager, Team Leader, and Shift Manager, which involved designing AI solutions, conducting security research, managing teams, and providing technical support. During their freelance work, they developed web search engines and custom drivers for oscilloscopes.

Shai Meir earned a BSc. in Math and Computer Science from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, graduating in 2009.
