Laura Laney, SHRM-CP, is an accomplished people and culture leader who is passionate about partnering with organizational leaders to develop and execute strategic talent management objectives. With her impactful and creative approach, Laura brings thoughtful, intentional and people-focused HR expertise to her work. In addition, Laura champions diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging in all spaces. She not only applies this lens to all she does, but empowers and challenges her clients to do the same.

Having supported organizations at various stages of their organizational lifecycle, Laura understands it is crucial to meet them where they are to envision and develop a people-focused path forward. This approach includes a deep understanding of the organization’s mission, values and strategic stakeholder engagement as well as applying talent management best practices for their workforce.

Laura’s over 14 years of experience include service to The George Washington University, time on Capitol Hill, and work at John Snow, Inc/The Partnership for Supply Chain Management, where she supported an international workforce in over 23 countries. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Brigham Young University-Idaho. She is also a Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) and an active member of the SHRM organization and the local SHRM chapter in Columbia, SC.
