Kathleen Walgren

Kathleen Walgren has a diverse work experience. Kathleen began their career as the Executive Director and CEO of THAW Fund in 1988, where they stayed until 2007. In 2007, they became the President of Nonprofit Leadership Excellence. Kathleen then went on to serve as the Executive Director for the American Cancer Society in 2008 and the Interim CEO for YWCA of Western Wayne County from 2010 to 2013. Additionally, in 2012, they assumed the role of Interim Executive Director for the National Fuel funds Network, where they led the association for low-income energy assistance programs throughout the U.S.

Kathleen Walgren attended Michigan State University from 1967 to 1980, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Arts.
