Jay Shek

Jay Shek is the Director of Product Management at Noom. Prior to this, they were the Product Manager at Facebook where they built machine-learning systems for location detection and local search to power location-based advertising and consumer products. Jay has also co-founded Locality, where they served as the CEO and grew the company from concept to 2M monthly users. During their time at Locality, they raised $7M from top-tier VCs and angels. Some of their other professional achievements include publicly launching Locality onstage at TechCrunch Disrupt in 2012 and recruiting and managing a team of 10 product managers, designers, engineers, and marketers. At Locality, Jay also managed three major products: Locality, MassageNow, and Data Collection. Jay sold MassageNow to Zeel in 2016.

Jay Shek received a Bachelor of Science in Economics from The Wharton School and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania.
