Shawn Evans

Shawn Evans has a diverse work experience in the field of security consulting. Shawn started their career as a Software Engineer and later became a Software Developer at Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC) from 2002 to 2006. After that, they joined Symantec as a Principal Security Consultant from 2006 to 2012, where they advised large enterprises and fortune 500 companies on network and application security audits. In 2012, they joined Knowledge Consulting Group as a Principal Security Consultant CISSP, where they continued to provide security advisory services and conducted training seminars. Since 2014, Shawn has been working as the Head of Security Research at NopSec Inc., where they serve as a trusted security advisor to various organizations, performing security audits and assessments, as well as hosting training seminars on offensive security attack techniques.

Shawn Evans attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania from 1998 to 2003, where they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Computer. During the same period, they also studied for a Bachelor of Computer Science degree in Computer Science, which they completed in 2002.
