Cole Hunt has a diverse work experience. Cole started their career in the US Army as a Military Police Supervisor, where they implemented environmental and wildlife policies. Cole then transitioned to the U.S Government as a Game Warden Sergeant, enforcing federal and state laws relating to fish and game within jurisdictional boundaries. Following this, they worked for the US Federal Government as a Government Employee for six years. Currently, they serve as the Director of Louisville Operations for the Nationwide Organ Recovery Transport Alliance (NORA).

Cole Hunt attended Indiana University Southeast starting in 2019, where they studied Social Sciences. In addition to their education, they also obtained various certifications including CPR/AED/Child and Infant from the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association in 2016. Cole also received certifications in Advanced Roadside Impairment Driving Enforcement/ARIDE from Louisville Metro Government in 2014, Crisis Intervention Officer from Louisville Metro Government in 2013, O.C Pepper Spray and Decontamination in 2009, TASER from TASER International in 2009, Interview & Interrogation from Louisville Metro Government in 2009, NIMS 100LE, 200, 300, 700, 701, 800 from FEMA in 2008, and Domestic Violence Intervention from the US Army in 2006.
