Jeffrey Vose

Jeff leads technology infrastructure, application development, and user support services.

Jeff is a vice president of technology at NORC, managing corporate information technology infrastructure, application development, and support services. His portfolio includes computing and network hardware, on-premise and cloud data center technology, high-volume call center operations, and help desk services. He also manages the software development practice for NORC’s case management, questionnaire, data collection, data cleaning, and data dissemination systems.

Jeff provides leadership on strategic initiatives leveraging his knowledge of industry and technology capabilities to align with the company’s mission. He oversees the entire technology lifecycle across his multi-disciplinary departments including forecasting, budgeting, procurement, deployment, support, through asset disposal.

Jeff has more than 30 years of technology experience across diverse industries, including a nationwide media conglomerate, a Fortune 100 heavy-equipment manufacturer, and a nonpartisan social science research organization. At NORC he has orchestrated the redesign of their proprietary case management system, formalized their project and software development methodology, led the data center re-architecture initiative, deployed a state-of-the-art service management system, and implemented an IT quality assurance methodology aligned with NORC's goal of conducting high-quality social science research in the public interest. Together these efforts have provided cost savings and productivity gains benefitting both the company and its clientele.

Prior to NORC, Jeff served as technology director at Tribune Company. In this role, he managed the advertising operations, software development, and technical support functions for Tribune's Internet division of 11 newspapers, 60 news and entertainment websites, and 24 broadcast stations. During his 16-year media tenure, Jeff led numerous technology-focused initiatives throughout the company.

In 2008, Jeff was recognized as one of Computerworld's Premier 100 IT Leaders. He is an active member of the Chicago chapter of the Society for Information Management and the Technology Executive's Club.
