Manuel Bento

Manuel Bento is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in technology leadership and operations, currently serving as Group Chief Operating Officer and Member of the Managing Board at Euronext since October 2016. In addition, Manuel holds roles as CEO of Euronext Technologies and Chief Technology Officer, overseeing various global technology teams focused on infrastructure, enterprise architecture, digital solutions, data, information security, software development, and M&A technology. Additional positions include Member of the Management Board at Nord Pool, Chairman of the Board at BIT MARKET SERVICES S.P.A., and previous engagements with Euronext Lisbon and SIBS, where earlier roles included Chief Technology Officer and various IT leadership capacities. Manuel's educational background features notable programs from prestigious institutions, including Harvard Business School, INSEAD, and MIT, culminating in a B.A. in Electrical and Computer Science from Universidade de Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro.
