Torkil Leinum

Torkil Leinum has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Starting from 1991, they worked as a Siv. Ing. Prosjektstyring at Aker Engineering, involved in project management and cost estimation for offshore projects. Torkil then moved on to Fokus Bank, where they worked as an Aksjeanalytiker/Analysesjef from 1994 to 1997. Following that, they joined Acta as the Director of Business Development, responsible for establishing new sales offices in Sweden and Finland. Torkil also served as the Daglig leder at Acta from 1997 to 2000.

In 2002, Torkil Leinum joined SpareBank 1 SMN as the Konsernbanksjef, leading the establishment of a new department for investment advisory and sales of saving and investment products. Torkil later became the Leder forretningsstøtte sparing in 2004. From 2005 to 2009, they worked at SpareBank 1 SMN Markets as the Leder Corporate Finance, providing services related to equity issuances, mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, and valuations. Torkil then transitioned to the role of Leder verdipapirer from 2009 to 2010.

Leinum then joined SpareBank 1 SMN Invest AS in 2010, where they held multiple positions. Torkil started as a Senior Investeringsrådgiver, providing investment advice and managing the bank's investments until 2019. From 2019 to 2021, they served as a daglig leder, responsible for managing the bank's ownership in early-stage companies, funds, development and real estate companies, and publicly traded companies.

In 2022, Torkil Leinum became the Daglig leder at Midtre Gauldal Utvikling KF, a position they held until 2023. Currently, they hold the position of CFO/leder strategi og forretningsutvikling NTE Marked AS at NTE, a role they started in September 2023. Throughout their career, Leinum has also been involved in various board positions and other roles.

Torkil Leinum has a degree in Industriell Økonomi from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), which they completed in 1990. Prior to that, they obtained a degree in Maskin from Trondheim Ingeniørhøyskole in 1988. In 1984, they attended Befalskolen for infanteriet i Trøndelag (BSIT), but it is unclear whether they obtained a degree or not.
