Ilja Summala

Ilja Summala is an experienced technology executive currently serving as the CTO of Nordcloud since November 2012, where Nordcloud leads as a European partner of AWS, Azure, and GCP, offering managed services and consultancy. Prior to this role, Ilja held significant positions at Nokia from August 2000 to November 2012, advancing from Senior Architect in IT to Head of Infrastructure Architecture. Experience also includes working as a Support Engineer at Compaq from December 1998 to July 2000, focusing on advanced Microsoft Exchange support, and at Hewlett-Packard from June 1996 to December 1998, providing support for Microsoft back office technologies. Ilja holds a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Helsinki, earned between 1989 and 1993.
