Jan Liesendahl

Jan Liesendahl has a diverse work experience in the field of application development. Jan started their career at an IT company, where they underwent vocational training as an IT specialist in application development from August 2010 to July 2013.

After their training, Jan worked as a freelancer at netzEinflechter from February 2015 to August 2018. Jan'sfreelance activities mainly revolved around the ERP system plentymarkets.com, where they handled tasks such as system configuration, interface programming, product data creation, web design, and plugin development.

Since August 2018, Jan has been working at Nordcloud, an IBM Company. Jan started as a developer and progressed to become a senior developer and people leader. Jan worked on various projects, including extending web applications for end customer purposes using AWS as the public cloud provider. Jan'stech stack included React.js, Serverless, and JavaScript/TypeScript.

Currently, Jan holds the role of Community Lead - Application Development Finland at Nordcloud, where they are responsible for leading the application development community.

Jan Liesendahl pursued their education in the field of information technology at Hochschule Niederrhein from 2014 to 2017. Prior to that, they obtained an advanced technical certificate in electrical engineering from Berufskolleg Platz der Republik für Technik und Medien Mönchengladbach from 2013 to 2014. Jan also completed their IT Specialist - Application Development degree at Berufskolleg Technik und Medien - Platz der Republik Mönchengladbach from 2010 to 2013. In addition to their formal education, Jan Liesendahl received a Professional Scum Master I certification from Scrum.org in February 2020.
