Head Of Equity & Fixed Income Products at Nordea Asset Management

Antti Savonen has extensive work experience in the finance industry, with a focus on equity and fixed income products. Antti began their career at Nordea Fonder AB as a Fund Assistant in 2003 before moving on to Nordea Funds as a Fund Specialist and then Fund Assistant.

In 2006, Antti joined Nordea as the Head of Finance and Control & Business Controller for Finland. Antti then transitioned to Nordea Asset Management in 2008, where they worked as a Product Manager until 2010.

From 2010 to 2011, Antti served as an Executive Advisor at Nordea, where they managed strategic projects and coordinated the management group work for Nordea Asset Management.

In 2011, Antti returned to Nordea Asset Management as a Senior Product Manager, eventually leading the Equity Products division for over five years. In this role, they were responsible for product development, management, fund launches, and re-engineering.

In June 2020, Antti was promoted to Head of Equity & Fixed Income Products at Nordea Asset Management, where they currently lead a team overseeing Nordea's global equity and fixed income fund range, which includes over 180 funds and assets worth more than EUR 80 billion.

Throughout their career, Antti has demonstrated a strong track record in product development, fund management, and executing successful launches. Antti is a highly experienced professional in the finance industry.

Antti Savonen has a diverse education background. Antti obtained a M.Sc. in Economics and Business Administration from Aalto University in 2005. In 2014, they completed their studies at Hanken School of Economics and obtained a Certified European Financial Analyst (CEFA) degree with a focus on finance. Antti also received a Certificate in Global Management from INSEAD in 2018. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications, including a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation from the CAIA Association in 2015 and a Certificate in ESG investing from the CFA Institute in 2022. Antti has also passed the General Securities Examination (APV1) and the Investment Advisor Examination (APV2) administered by Finanssiala ry - Finance Finland in 2011.
