Joanne Ang

Joanne Ang has extensive work experience in the finance industry, starting in 2007 as an Assistant Manager at PwC. Joanne then moved on to the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) as an Assistant Director from 2012 to 2014. Following this, they worked at Proa Partners Pte Ltd as the Chief Compliance Officer from 2014 to 2018. Joanne then joined GIC as a Compliance Manager from 2018 to 2022. Currently, they are the Head of Asset Management Compliance - Asia at Nordea Asset Management.

Joanne Ang obtained a degree in Accountancy from NBS Alumni Affairs, NTU, with a specialization in Accounting and Finance from 2004 to 2007. Additionally, they hold certifications including Certified Global Sanctions Specialist from ACAMS, Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMLS) from ACAMS, and Certified Public Accountant from the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) in 2010.
