Laurent Gorgemans

Laurent Gorgemans has been working in the financial sector for over 20 years. Laurent started their career at Desjardins Securities as a Representative in 1996 and then moved to Desjardins Financial Security Life Assurance Company as a Sales Director in 1998. In 1999, they became a Senior Portfolio Manager at Desjardins. Laurent then joined Fortis Investments in 2000 as the Head of funds of funds, where they were responsible for third party funds selection and funds of funds management. From 2005 to 2012, they worked at Dexia Asset Management as the Head of Dexia multi-managers. In 2012, Laurent joined Banque Privée Edmond de Rothschild Europe in Luxembourg as the Head of Institutional Mandates until February 2020. Laurent is currently the Global Head of Product Management at Nordea Asset Management, a position they have held since February 2020.

Laurent Gorgemans completed a Diploma in Finance at UQAM | Université du Québec à Montréal from 1996 to 1997. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Economics (Licences en sciences-économiques) at Université catholique de Louvain from 1988 to 1993. Additionally, they obtained a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) certification from AIMR in 2001.
