Sander Nielsen has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Sander started their career as a Financial Advisor at Nordea/Unibank in 1999 and worked in this role until 2002. Following that, they joined Nordea Asset Management and held various positions. Sander worked as an Assistant Client Manager from 2002 to 2005, where they supported the Client Manager in client relations and communication. Sander then became a Client Manager from 2005 to 2008, taking on responsibilities such as client reporting and ad hoc assignments. From 2008 to 2010, Sander was selected for the Potential Programme within Nordea Savings & Asset Management, a development program for personal and corporate growth. After completing the program, they served as a Director of Institutional Sales from 2008 to 2013. Subsequently, they became the Head of Client Relationship Services from 2013 to 2016, where they managed client relationships and services. From 2016 onwards, Sander held the position of Product Manager, Director, acting as a link between external managers and various distribution channels within Nordea Asset Management. Throughout their career, they also took on mentorship roles, both formal and informal, where they guided and supported individuals in their career and personal development.
Sander Nielsen completed a Graduate Diploma in Finance at Copenhagen Business School from 2003 to 2005. Sander also pursued a Stud.Oecon at Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark from 1998 to 1999 and completed the Higher Commercial Examination Programme (HHx) at Slagelse Handelsskole from 1995 to 1998. In addition to their formal education, Sander obtained a Certificate in ESG Investing from the CFA Institute in 2023.
