Silja Toivanen

Silja Toivanen has over 23 years of work experience, starting in 1996 at Merita Bank Plc as a Settlement Officer at International Custody Services. Silja then worked as an Investment Assistant at MeritaNordbanken Fund Company Finland Ltd from 1998 to 1999. Silja joined MeritaNordbanken Fonder AB as a Fund Administrator in 1999. From 2000 to 2005, they worked at Nordea Investment Management AB, first as a Fund Administrator and then as an Investment Specialist. Silja joined Nordea Life Assurance Finland Ltd. in 2008 as a Private Equity Specialist. In 2011, they moved to Nordea Investment Management Finland Ltd, where they served as the Head of Fund Control until 2015. Since 2015, they have been with Nordea Asset Management, initially as the Chief Analyst and currently as the Head of Nordic Accounting & Reporting.

Silja Toivanen attended Itäkeskuksen lukio from 1993 to 1995. Silja then pursued a degree in Management and Finance at Hanken School of Economics from 2000 to 2008, earning a Ms. Econ. degree. Additionally, they studied Creative Writing at Kriittinen Korkeakoulu from 2006 to 2008.
