George Furuholmen

George Furuholmen is currently the Director at Nordea. Prior to this, they were the Associate Director at Nordea Markets from August 2015 to April 2017. There, they were responsible for investment banking and the execution of M&A and ECM transactions. From June 2013 to July 2015, George was the Associate Director at Handelsbanken Capital Markets with similar responsibilities.

George's experience in the financial industry began at ABN AMRO where they worked as an analyst from August 2006 to July 2008. George then transitioned to Barclays Capital where they worked as a vice president from July 2008 to May 2013 in the M&A Advisory department for EMEA. George also did a brief internship at Barclays Capital from July 2006 to August 2006 in the Global Risk management department.

George Furuholmen has a MSc in Banking and Finance from Cass Business School, a BSc in Economics and Finance from University of Warwick - Warwick Business School, and a UB course in Sergeant from Befalsskolen for Kavaleriet. George also has an Examen Artium from Handelsgym.

George Furuholmen reports to Ingar Nissen-Meyer, Head of Advisory & ECM Norway. George Furuholmen works with Dan Kvaale Jordal - Associate Director, Erik Sand - Managing Director, and Magnus Helno - Associate.
