Naja Nalapurakkal

Naja Nalapurakkal is an experienced technology leader specializing in risk, compliance, and ESG. Since May 2014, Naja has held several prominent positions at Nordea, including Head of Technology for Risk, Compliance and ESG, and Business Area Technology Leader for ESG. Naja has also served as an Executive Advisor to Group functions technology CIO and has extensive experience in strategic implementation within banking technology. Prior roles include Manager in Financial Services Data and Analytics at KPMG, Financial Services Technology Advisory at Ernst & Young, and Senior Consultant at Cognizant Technology Solutions, focusing on Lloyds Banking Group. Additional consultancy experience includes developing technology strategies at Manchester Airport. Naja's earlier career features leadership roles in banking technology at Infosys Technologies Ltd and analytical roles at Fidelity Investments. Naja holds an MBA from Lancaster University and participated in an MBA Exchange Program at the University of St. Gallen, as well as a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Cochin University of Science and Technology.
