Christian Rutemark

Christian Rutemark is an experienced professional in the fields of operations, sales, and sustainability within the biotechnology sector. Currently serving as Head of ESG at Europa Biosite since March 2024, Rutemark leads a sustainability program aimed at developing a roadmap for sustainable practices across the organization. With a long-standing position as Operations Manager and International Sales at Nordic Biosite since February 2014, responsibilities include overseeing daily operations, logistics, and customer service. Previous roles include research engineering at AbSorber AB, various academic positions at Uppsala University, and a foundational education in biotechnology and molecular sciences. Rutemark holds a PhD in Medical Sciences with a focus on immunology from Uppsala University and has participated in compliance training to enhance professional qualifications.
