Pontus Norell

Pontus Norell is a seasoned professional in the infrastructure investment sector, currently serving as Managing Director at Nordic Capital since May 2025. Previously, Norell held various positions at EQT Group from January 2016 to April 2025, including Director and Vice President within the infrastructure investment team. Norell also contributed to MOLSLINJEN A/S as a Board Member and served as a Board Observer/Board Member for Torghatten AS and Hector Rail AB, as well as for GB Railfreight. Earlier experience includes roles at McKinsey & Company and Remium Relations, where Norell was Head of Operations. Educational qualifications include a BSc in Finance, Accounting & Financial Management from the Stockholm School of Economics, complemented by studies at Uppsala University and Lund University.
